A select group of parents from the families of each beneficiary of the ASCP program is chosen to be empowered through a three- to four-day training workshop. During this workshop, successful business owners in similar fields as the beneficiaries provide training on key aspects of business such as financial management and customer service, to name a few. Bank accounts are opened for the beneficiaries, and start-up capital is handed to them with the goal of daily savings among thrift savers in order to cultivate the culture of savings.
